This project was an interactive electronic children's story book telling a story about immigration.



This student hacked and reworked the idea of an MP3 player using a clock dial as an interface for cueing music tracks.

Solar Art

The following projects are experiments in solar powered kinetic sculpture. Students built circuitry to maximize the power available from small solar panels.





This student project reworked old cellphones into light fixtures in a public shelter in Shanghai, China. The cellphones were powered by a 100 watt solar panel changing a backup battery.

This class had the challenge of creating inflatable installations
This project was in protest institutionalized discrimination of woman's health needs on campus and China in general.

This is a student experiment to create a inflatable space inspired by Afrofuturism using mylar, eva plastic film, heat sealing and tape.
