3d printed Bear skull and claws, moss, plastic sheeting, 6ft x 4 ftx 2ft

Inspired by my prior work building wearables using moss rescued from construction sites, Ursus Vegatalis is a emotional response to humans’ impact on nature and nature’s ability to adapt. The moss which makes up the fur of the bear skin is conditioned to living in arrid environments and continues to live within the unnatural confines of the gallery.
